Ceremony

10:00 AM

The Hindu wedding ceremony is consecrated in accordance with the Vedas, the sacred scriptures of the Hindus. In short, ceremony begins with a prayer to Lord Ganesh followed by four key rituals:

Kanya Agman (Bride's arrival),
Kanyadan (Giving away Bride to Groom),
Panigrahana (Acceptance of Bride by Groom),
Saptapadi
(Taking seven steps before fire to signify union).

Indian vegetarian appetizers will be served in a buffet style along with hot/cold non-alcoholic beverages during the ceremony.

12:30 PM

Presentation of couple

This is where the Bride and Groom are introduced as husband and wife for the first time. The cake cutting represents the first activity the married couple does together.

Lunch Reception

Vegetarian Indian cuisine will be served as a buffet style

This is the most emotional moment of the complete marriage ceremony.The Bride's family and friends bid

 the Bride a teary farewell. With this they also bless her for a happy married life. The father/uncle of the Bride takes her to the car or the Doli and hands her to the Groom.

9:45 AM

Milni

Bride's family, friends and guests wait at the venue to greet the Baraat. When they arrive, family members meet, exchange garlands and embrace each other

Baraat

9:00 AM

Groom and his family, friends and guests parade to the wedding venue, with dancing on dhol music.

8:30 AM

Arrival of family members and guests. Buffet-style light continental breakfast will be served along with tea and coffee.
